Aramid, para- and meta-aramid packings for abrasive use

This 100% Para Aramid endless fiber packing offers tremendous performance. With the unique combination of mechanical properties (high abrasion and cut resistance), durability and thermal stability, it is also characterized by an extremely low weight and thus high meter usage. A packing of aramid staple fiber with PTFE impregnation and parafin universal lubricant, which optimizes the sliding properties. During production, the aramid fibers are tightly braided diagonally. It is used in particular in the paper industry as well as in power plants and mining. Due to the high strength of aramid fibers, we recommend a surface hardness of 50 HRc to prevent tread wear on shafts and sleeves.
