it is with deep regret that we inform you that Maaret Löfroos, passed away on the evening of May 1, 2023. Maaret was not only a highly skilled professional, but also a loving wife and mother as well as a close friend to many of her colleagues at ProPack.

Maaret poured her heart and soul into everything she did. Her work at ProPack, a company she co-founded, was not just a job, but a passion that she pursued with enthusiasm.
Her sudden death has affected us all deeply and Maaret will always be remembered as an incredibly intelligent, determined, kind and humorous person. She loved nature and South Africa, environmental and animal welfare was especially close to her heart. We will carry on her legacy and continue to work to create a more sustainable future.

As a sign of recognition and respect for Maaret's engagement in the field of animal conservation, we have launched a fundraiser for the Rhino Orphanage Program. Maaret had expressed the wish to be buried in Finland. The funeral will be held in the presence of her closest family members and friends. We ask everyone else to be with the family in their thoughts and show their support from afar.

Maaret will leave an irreplaceable void in our company and in our hearts. We will miss her and her smile very much and will always remember her with gratitude.
